Whale watching
Several times throughout the year, the College Internship Program arranges for fun cultural and educational activities not so close to home.
As one of our students, you will have opportunities to see Broadway shows in New York City, go shopping and enjoy diverse dining experiences in Hartford, CT, visit the New England Aquarium, Museum of Science, music and dance shows, whale-watching, and shopping and exploring in Boston - just to name a few.
In the winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and snow boarding are always convenient to CIP students. Other activities include concerts, street festivals, area malls, movie theaters and sporting events.
Physical Fitness and Healthy Lifestyle
To support physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle we have a Recreational and Fitness room on campus that includes exercise equipment. Students use the lounge setting to relax and socialize. Other entertainment includes a pool table, ping-pong and air hockey.
In the winter, students frequent the local ski areas including Jiminy Peak Ski Resort. Ski trips to larger areas in Vermont are also scheduled throughout the ski season.

Belize 2007
Optional Cultural Spring Break Trip

Belize 2007
For the last 19 years, the College Internship Program at the Berkshire Center has researched and arranged for a fun, educational and culturally diverse foreign trip during the annual student break in March.
If you choose to participate, prior to leaving, you will study and become familiar with the vacation itinerary, as well as the history, language and culture of the country you will explore. While these trips are learning experiences, there is ample time for fun and socialization. Read more on the travel program page.
